Learning Together

YOUTH

Us Fest is a family-friendly event because community isn’t just built, it grows and sometimes it grows tiny humans. Where there’s love, there are little ones, and when we include them, we’re not just throwing a party, we’re nurturing a village. Kids bring the wonder, the wiggles, and the wild ideas that make this space truly come alive. From tiny hands to teen trailblazers, they experience a weekend of belonging, connection, discovery, and adventure that encourages friendship, skill building, creativity, and teamwork. The Kid Krew gets to explore hands-on learning from the land and from each other, where wild hearts and curious minds come to play, surrounded by the magic of nature and US as a community.

KID’S WEEKEND ACTIVITIES AND FUN

WINGS OF WONDER: CAPE & FLAGS CREATION CENTER

Design and personalize your very own cape or flag using colors, symbols, and decorations that express your unique spirit. Then wear your cape or fly your flag proudly as you run, play, imagine, and discover the hero within.

POTS OF POSSIBILITIES

Step into the role of a young gardener and create your own special planting vessel. Fill it with soil, tuck in tiny seeds, and carry home the promise of something growing. With care, sunlight, and time, watch your little pot transform into a living story of growth and wonder.

HEARTS, STRINGS & MAGIC THINGS

Weave soft yarn into hearts full of warmth and craft wands that shimmer with possibility. Twist, wrap, and decorate as you create small treasures that carry kindness, creativity, and a spark of everyday magic.

ADORN-A-THING: BEADS & BLING

Bring your favorite t-shirt, bag, hat, or piece of clothing to life with beads, string, and creative flair. Add color, sparkle, and playful designs to transform everyday items into one-of-a-kind treasures that shine with your unique style.

FREE WHEEL’N POTTERY

Come get your hands dirty while learning the ancient technique of throwing pots on a pottery wheel. make a cup, bowl, or vase then take it home to dry and decorate.

TWEEN EMPOWERMENT CIRCLE (GIRLS)

Girls gather for a guided experience designed to nurture connection, confidence, and open conversation. We kick things off with icebreakers and movement exercises, then settle into a talking circle where young women can explore topics like peer pressure, body changes, friendship, big emotions, resilience, and navigating life with devices. A teen mentor guides the circle alongside the group, creating a comfortable, peer centered space where girls truly lead the conversation. Mothers are welcome to stay or drop off. We close by shaking it all off with a dance party featuring a special playlist curated by Tierza.

US FEST SOUL FAMILY REVIVAL

This year, the little ones are part of something special. Kids will move through both the men's and women's circles before the whole village comes together for a big family dance party. A celebration of community, connection, and the village that raises us all together.

ALL KIDS SCAVENGER HUNT

Teams of all ages mix together for an adventure across the property, with little ones and bigger kids paired up to tackle a list of challenges that send them exploring landmarks, discovering hidden gems in nature, and connecting with the wider Us Fest community. Think snapping a photo with someone in a silly hat or tracking down a stranger willing to tell a great joke. Each team needs one phone to document their discoveries along the way. After the hunt wraps up, everyone comes together for a prize party featuring a pinata for the winners and an ice cream and cookie celebration for the runners up. Last year the kids absolutely loved it and we cannot wait to do it again!

KIDS MOVIE & GAME NIGHT

While the grown-ups get their groove on, the youngins can settle in for a cozy night of fun! We’ll have a sweet lineup of age-appropriate movies, board games, and creative play to keep them laughing and entertained. Pajamas welcome, popcorn included, and good times guaranteed. Let the kids chill while the parents dance their hearts out!
