US Fest Volunteer Opportunities

 

Us Fest wouldn't be possible without the support of our incredible community. This year, we're inviting you to be part of the magic by joining our volunteer team. Volunteering is a beautiful way to show up, connect, and help create a weekend we'll all remember.

 

🎟️ 5 Hours = Half Price Ticket ($130)

🎟️ 10 Hours = Free Ticket ($260 value)

 

Each volunteer hour is valued at $26. Once you sign up, we will review your shifts and send you a half price ticket code. You may need to sign up for more than one position to meet your required hours. If you choose to purchase a full price ticket and still volunteer, we are deeply grateful for your generosity.

 

Each hour is valued at $26. If you fall short of your committed hours, we will send you a Venmo invoice for the difference. Simple and fair for everyone!

A few important things to know:

 

• All volunteers must be 18 or older

• Please be on time and complete your entire shift

• A volunteer sign in and sign out sheet will be available at the outdoor kitchen. Signing in and out is mandatory to receive your discounted ticket

• If you need to cancel, please give us at least 48 hours notice so we can fill your spot

 

Volunteer Opportunities

 

Setup

Most of the volunteer work happens during setup, which is key for the whole weekend. We begin on Thursday at 5pm and aim to finish by 5pm on Friday. Tasks include setting up the tent, placing signs, decorations, and more.

 

Parking

Check people in upon arrival, hand out wristbands and event schedules, and help everyone get parked and settled for the weekend. Parking volunteers start Friday at 3pm. 

 

Kids Activities

We need volunteers for each kids activity. There will be art and activities in the morning and afternoon, as well as movie and game nights on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

 

Potluck

We are looking for 2 volunteers to oversee the potluck for Saturday dinner and Sunday brunch. Duties include setup, monitoring, and cleanup.

 

Rovers

Rovers help clean up trash, restock and clean bathrooms, stack firewood, and support other needs as they arise. You'll have a two hour window to complete these tasks on both Saturday and Sunday.

 

Takedown and Final Sweep

Takedown begins Monday after the closing ceremony around 1pm and continues until completion. Last year this was over 60 hours of work across two full days. This year takedown is a volunteer priority and we truly need your help!

 

Medical (On Call)

We are looking for a kind and capable person with CPR and basic first aid training to serve as on call medical support. Us Fest is a small family friendly gathering of around 250 people. During your shift you will carry a radio and serve as a calm grounded presence for anything that comes up. As a thank you for this special role, you will receive a half price ticket ($130) for the event.
