PICAFLORES PROPERTY CLEAN-UP WEEKEND!

May 3rd - 4th

Join us as we steward this sacred land and support its recovery from the long winter. Our mission for the weekend includes clearing trails, removing debris to encourage new growth, reducing surface fuels to help prevent forest fires, refurbishing structures, and more. Come for a few hours or stay Saturday night; every bit helps. We will start Saturday at 10am with the majority of the work happening then and finish up Sunday if needed. **Property Clean-up weekend DOES NOT count towards Us Fest Volunteer hours.

Weekend Details: 

Pica Flores ~ 56277 King Rd E, McKenzie Bridge, OR 97413

Please bring yard tools: Rakes, clippers, gloves, saws, buckets, gloves, and whatever else you feel will be helpful. There will also be tools available at the property if needed.

Accommodations: 

We encourage you to bring your camper/RV if possible. There will be plenty of room in the yurt for that slumber party vibe. Bring your own ground pads, blowup mattresses and bedding if you choose this option. The Bath-House sauna, showers, and camp kitchen will be available. There is a fridge available if needed.

Thank You Dinner:

We will provide a good old fashion spaghetti feed on Saturday night along with all the fixings. Feel free to bring a side dish to share and beverages of your choice. 

Weather in the rainforest can be wet at times, so please be prepared

More details about the cleanup weekend will be emailed to those who sign up. This weekend’s volunteer hours will not count for discounts on Us Fest tickets.
